This is how my brother got diagnosed by complaining to his Doctor that at 27 he was suddenly having to get up 2-3 times a night to urinate....when they tested him, he had serious diabetes so worth a small test at Docs. Goodluck x

Excessive thirst is, yes. Do you drink your 64 oz (approximately 2 liters) of water per day, and still feel the need to drink more at night? If you don't drink that much, it may be your body trying to signal that you need more water.

Thirst is one of the classic symptoms of Diabetes. Other things also like needing to get up in the night to wee, excessive tiredness & weight loss. It can easily be checked out for you at your Drs tho, take in a sample of urine for them to test for you...

The best way is to go see your GP and he will test you to see your glucose levels and also other levels that could be raised if caused by diabetes hope it ain't though

I get thirsty at night too. Do you drink alcohol or have salty food before bed?that could be another reason.
