an opening in a chess game, at least it's the definition I learned, consists of the first 4 moves. and here in this case, a move is defined as each player moving a peice once.
Ok, now do you realize that the number of possible ways to open up a chess game is a very large number. Normally, I would be able to figure this out myself, but I'm getting confused because you can move more than just pawns and the different abilities of the peices is messing up my formula majorly. I don't know how to fix it.
