I dreamt my friend died but no one would believe me.

In the dream she was sat in front of me at a table while everyone was walking arround.
I was talking to her but no one else could see her & kept telling me she had died.
I tried to make everyone see her but they couldn't and I thought I was going mad. She told me that she was real and that I was ok but no one else would believe me. It was horrible.
Everyone was talking about the funneral arround me but I couldn't make them see her.

What do you think this means?
Stupid answers not welcome.

DEATH : Death is often the most feared of symbols for obvious reasons. But it can link to the thought off death or some eerie moment the day before that really scared you. But really death is not such a bad symbol overall. It may link to a situation that has just ended in your life or change or transition such as leaving a job. If a friend dies then it may simply mean that the friendship has been allowed to die and is now not as important. Death can also link to things that you cannot do now and limitations placed upon you. So overall look for changes and transitions in your life and your fears associated with them. Often your fears associated with this symbol are misplaced - the dream may simply mean that some very interesting TV show has just ended and you are having to fill the hole.

DEATH
To dream about the death of a loved one, suggests that you are lacking a certain aspect or quality that the loved one embodies. Ask yourself what makes this person special or what do you like about her. It is that very quality that you are lacking in your own relationship or circumstances.

Alternatively, it indicates that whatever that person represents has no part in your own life.

Items in our dreams are usually symbols. How did you feel about the symbols? What's important in dreams is that you remember the circumstances of the dreams and how you felt about them. There are cases of portent dreaming, (dreaming something and it comes true later) but if you haven't had them before, don't worry. Hope this helps

Don't listen to people saying that dreams are meaningless. We as people want to be in control of our lives but we are not in control - not 100% of the time. You know we're really are controlled by our sub-conscieous. Thats why we dream because we can get answers to questions that we are not conscieously aware of. Go to this site: http://dreamloverinc.com/ -- It can help you figure out your dreams. It has helped me alot.

People sure do have rude answers---ANYWAYS tho,!
Obviously I think you know something about her that others dont. Possibly not a very big thing, but it could be something that is important, or means something to YOU. I think your friend in real life is very honest towards YOU but not very honest towards other people. Possibly a little bit of an actress.
If this is not the case, maybe you are scared your friendship is getting a little bad, or disapating. Its not as good as it used to be, (it is, but you might want MORE to your friends relationship, like loyality.)
Or maybe she is trying to tell YOU something.
DREAMS DO MEAN SOMETHING its like wisdom movies in your head.

Had you been worrying about your friend, for any reason, before you had the dream ,if so this is probably why you were dreaming about her in that way,but not really thought about it at the time,if not then I wouldnt worry about it,we all have dreams like that sometime in our lives.

I believe that your dream means that you're afraid of losing your friendship with this girl. Just continue to be a good friend and stay true to yourself as well. If you do this, everything will work out as it's meant to be. Good luck to you.

Hmmmm.... dreaming of death usually means a change is taking place (i.e. death of an old phase, and the birth of a new one).

I think it means your friend's changing, but everybody else is so busy walking around her that they can't notice it. You're scared of the chang,e but she's telling you she's OK.
