Creationism is not a defining Christian belief, not even mainstream. People can have vestigial structures such as tails because sometimes traits of our evolutionary ancestors are expressed under quirky developmental conditions. Science is the means which God has given us to understand, appreciate and work in harmony with the universe of His creation. There is nothing sinister or sinful in embracing the abundant scientific evidence of evolution.
