For best results wait at LEAST until your period is due. After that, wait as long as you can stand it. The longer you wait, the more hCG will be in your urine, resulting in a better test result. Some tests say they are accurate up to 5 days BEFORE you miss your period, but some women don't get a result until they're 2 months along.
If you mean two weeks after you miss your period, sounds great; if you mean two weeks after your last period, no, wait longer.

Make sure you read the instructions on the box - there are significant differences in the tests that are available. Some are sensitive enuff to detect the pg hormone very early. Also, take the test first thing in the morning, & follow the instructions exactly. (despite the results it is always best to repeat the test - most of the tests available today, have multiple test kits - even though it is very difficult to wait til the next morning, it is best to do.) many ppl will simply use the same urine that was collected for the first test. However, you will have more accurate results from two separate samples. Good Luck!

For me the best time to take it was when I missed a period. I had a slip up and took a test like two weeks after and it said negative.
Come to find out i was pregnant!!! So wait at least until 3weeks or after a missed period!

You should probably wait until you have missed your period. Most tests work up to 1 day after you have missed your period.

no.....your hcg levels will not be high enough to register on any hpt. you'll need to wait at least 5 days before your period is due

it could be if you are regular but if you are not reulare i would wait a week after your period and take it then
