The Pats are my team, too...but I think you have to consider the 80s 49ers and 70s Steeelers as 1 and 2, each with 4 Super Bowls...I think the Pats are #3 as far as all-time dynasties with 3...Now, if Brady and Belichick win 5 Super Bowls or more, they jump to #1...

No one except maybe Patriots fans. I am a Steelers fan. I say we had the first dynasty of the Superbowl Era. 4 Championships in 6 years(ONLY yes ONLY team to do that) and still keep the mystique of being the Steelers two and a half decades after it ended. The 49ers had a better dynasty then the Patriots and were right up there with the Steelers. Not sure which I would put next though, but probably the Cowboys because they didn't tend to rely on their KICKER. They went out there and won. Sure the '95 Superbowl was fixed or O'Donnell was paid off or something(come on noone is THAT stupid and a QB in the NFL, he threw 2 balls to Larry"WHO?"Brown with no reciever near) but beyond that one they just went out and won. I might even put the Bills up there before the Patriots, because even though they lost they went 4 times in a row. Actually I'm just tired of people giving Belichick credit. He isn't that great of a coach. Look at his "genius" in Cleveland.
Oh and about the teams being full of Hall Of Famers, what do you think got them there? What do you think got them to the Pro Bowls? They were great but they played great as a TEAM as well. They weren't a bunch of HoF players that just got their on their own. They got their because they were all that talented and togther. They feed off each other.

I do not. The 49ers (won 4 superbowls in the 80s) and Steelers (4 superbowls in the 70s) were better dynasties.
The Cowboys also won 3 SBs in 4 years. The Pats have equaled that.
If the Pats go to the big game again within the next 2 years, I'll put them right up there, but for now I see them as tied for 3rd, with the Cowboys.

i dont agree, but then if you take a look at the players the patriots had on their superbowl years there is not a single superstart on the roster minus brady and may seymour. the 70s steelers 80s 49ers and 90s cowboys are all better dynastys but all those teams were packed with all pros and HOF. if brady had half the amount of talent around him that the other teams have had then they probably would have one 5 super bowls already but still the pats are not the greatest

Best dynasty ever? Two words------ Pittsburgh Steelers. The Pats were never the dominating team the Steelers were in the 70's. Their Steel Curtain defense forced the league to change the rules of the game to favor the offenses. The Pats are good, not to take away from them, but the Steelers were a force and continue to be a team to be reckoned with.

They are the best dynasty of the 21st century but not the best ever. I mean what about the Cowboys, and the 49ers, the Steelers, I mean they were way better than the Patriots did.

it's way too early to be writing the history of the Patriots in the 2000s. They will be back next year, with a healthy Rodney Harrison and with new receivers. Lawrence Moroney will be another year more experienced as will Steve Gostkowski. It ain't over, not by a long shot.

they are a good dynasty but the cowboys of the 90s would beat them bad. Almost the whole team went pro-bowl

I certainly don't. They weren't even a dynasty. when I think of football dynasties, I think of the Cowboys, Steelers and 49ers. They aren't the best team ever. They achieved most of their success by luck.
