1) Slope = Rise/ Run
another way to put it is: (y2 - y1) / (x2 - x1)
where (x1, y1) and (x2, y2) are points from your graph which lie directly on the slope.

2) Same line, same slope - no matter what equation you use to graph it. In one equation you use the slope and the y-intercept and in the other you use both the x and y intercepts.

3) Same line, same slope - one uses slope and y-intercept while the other uses various points on the line.

Bottom=run


becouse the slop is a constant.


because there is a contant in the formula of a linear equation.

On #1 - One word is "Rise" and the other "Reach" (but you have to figure out which is which on your own ;-). Its easy if you think about it for 2 minutes..
