I am just wondering why race is thrown in to the super bowl. Like espn said the other day its the first two black americans in the super bowl facing each other. We have gotten so far without the race issue. Why can`t they say here is 2 great coaches and their teams playing each other for the great prize. DON`T TAKE MY QUESTION THE WRONG WAY I AM JUST WONDERING IF ANYONE AGREES OR DISAGREES PLEASE ANYONE SHARE THERE INSIGHT I AM NOT A COLT OR A BEARS FAN I JUST WANT TO SEE A GREAT SUPER BOWL

I agree totally, why do we pretend to consider each other equal if we are going to act like it makes a bit of difference if a coach is black or white? I think it gets really ridiculous sometimes. I mean if two white coaches were facing off would the topic of discussion be their race?I don't think so.

Because they are first...just as if it were two Chinese head coaches in the NFL. Just like if it were two women coaches. Yes I agree that all people are equal, regardless of the color of their skin. However, that hasn't always been the case and for years black men weren't allowed to BE head coaches. They were looked at as inferior due to the color of their skin. I look at it as a good thing that two black men, especially with the great friendship they have, made it this far. It speaks mountains to their race and heritage that they can overcome.
Good for both of them! These are the first 2 black coaches to reach the superbowl, not just the first to play against each other.

I think why it is being talked about this much is because it's never happened b4 in America's favorite game being football. I think it is a great thing for football that should be celebrated.
