No. Even aside form those that have ‘adult’ themes (which are not really necessary), the story lines in some of them are quite sophisticated and interesting. Sometimes, it is fun to go back to our youth, through the medium of comics. There is nothing wrong with enjoying the same comics you liked as a kid, provided that you are not neglecting your adult responsibilities to do so. And if you have kids of your own, you can read to them and share the stories with them and enjoy them through their eyes, which makes the whole world seem fresh and new and interesting.

Absolutely not. I'm mostly into Marvel comics, so I can only give some pointers in the Marvel comic world.
Most of the Marvel comics have some very suggestive themees and are obviously not designated for children. I'm 15 years old, and I read comics all the time. It sounds kinda silly to be reading comics at this age, but it's actually not considering the in-depthness of comics and such. There are a lot of older people out there who read comics as well. My comic book store guy is like 45 years old, and he reads comics. I used to think it was weird for older people to read comics until I realized the deepness of the stories. They act a lot like tv shows as a matter of fact!
However there are still a lot of comics out there designated for children only. Marvel has this series out called Marvel Adventures which is for children 3-9 years old. Hope that helps.

NO!!! I love comics and I'm 16. I don't think comics are meant for kids only. Because there are some comics that have complex storyline, and the one who understands that is adults. Right?

Of course not. They have many adult comics...like Spawn, and Lobo...well they say for mature readers, but they do have adult comics. I can't remember any of the names. I use to work at a comic book store, and had never seen them until then, and some of the pervy men that read them. Not that anything is wrong with it.

Not at all. In fact, about 90% of comics are designed for teens and older.
If you look at some of the concepts that comics discuss, they are very mature and thought provoking, even the superhero stuff
