when I first started out I did . I know its silly but my feelings sort of got hurt when I got a thumbs down and I did get a love letter from Yahoo for chatting (just for the record I talk alot, I gab. I run off at the mouth BUT I do not "chat") But nowadays I dont care

It depends on the person, so you have to consider the source. If it is someone who is lonely and bitter, she might be lashing out from anger or jealousy. In most cases, it isn't even worth the energy.
