Any tips on how dress nice and look good? I have a hard time finding things that look nice on me because I'm not used to being this size and the clothes I'm used to wearing don't look good anymore. I'm am probably up to a 14 now. I use to wear heals everyday and tight jeans and shirts and show off my body. I see women my size and bigger and they still look great, but I end up wearing big sweaters, loose jeans and sweat pants all the time. Any suggestions?

I know exactly how you feel.... I was in the same rut a couple of years ago. The thing is you have to experiment and find out what is number 1 comfortable ,you don't want to be tugging and pulling and
number 2,what looks good and is flattering to your shape.

To eliminate muffin top (bulge of flesh over jeans) wear a nice camisole of stretch material underneath a nice long T shirt that comes down to your hips. This not only is comfortable but it gives the illusion of an hourglass shape and layering is always a good thing to make you look thinner.

Also wear heels, they make you look taller and thus slimmer. Wear the wide waist cinching belts they can do miracles, especially if it's made from stretch material.

If you still want to show off your body do it in minimal ways and show off your most flattering assets. If you have a fantastic cleavage, then wear dresses with a nice V neck and that hang sort of loose on waist hips and thighs.

If you love your legs wear a nice pencil skirt (every woman should have one of these)

For undergarments use SPANX the best shape wear on Earth! Celebs like Beyonce and Gwyneth Paltrow wear like 2 at a time to get their figures. I magine what wearing one can do!

I hope these suggestions were useful to you. I know it can be frustrating finding the right look/fit
but at least you can look good before you loose your weight!

I don't see why you can't wear tight jeans and form fitting tops now. Even if you don't want a top clinging to you, there's plenty in style that are loose fitting now. I think it looks so mch worse when a bigger person wears baggy stuff or doesn't put any effort into getting ready because it just makes it so obvious that they hate the way they look. That, in return, makes you look 10 times worse. A common sense tip: don't try squeezing into something a size too small. Purchase your correct size and it'll make you look smaller. Don't be frumpy! If you look good then it'll encourage you to loose the weight you want. And I'm not a skinny b*tch giving you the advice, I'm doing this myself (Weight watchers:)

Don't wear your jeans too tight, just find some that fit well. Remember, you aren't wearing the size tag on the outside. I'd find a pair that flare a little at the bottom if you have gained any weight in your hips. That will even things out visually. Also, I'd go with Empire Waist tops. They are flattering on everyone and hide excess pounds. They are slenderizing and are meant to be worn out not tucked in. Good luck to you.

try to find some jeans/ or pants that are not too tight, but also not baggy, just some that will give you a little room.....black pants or dark denim would look great umm try some tanks or nice tees that go up to like two inches below your neck or an inch below your color bone, some nice tanish colors would look nice and then a nice jacket that compliments your curves and torso, try one that isnt long thats a little short, goes to maybe like a little past your belly button, blacks/ dark greys, navy blues would look fabulous and then maybe some fashionable earrings and long necklaces (try gold with a little pendant on the end-very cute and in style!) you can still dress fashionably and look great altho u may be a little bigger than what you were before......also, maybe try to work out a little, like just to stay healthy, not to lose a lot of weight to impress people or to fit in with what most people call slim. create a schedule or something that helps you go to the gym on a regular basis. eat healthy foods too, dont starve yourself. just stay on a balanced diet!
hope this helped!

try to find fitted, but not tight, clothes to wear. find clothes that are a good color, or ones w/seams, buttons, etc, that accentuate ur figure. pair outfits w/cute accesories to draw some of the attention away from ur body. also, if ur hair is done and so is ur makeup, u always look instantly more put together. when ur shopping, take more time to search through and really try on clothes to see what looks good. take along an honest friend, or ask a salesperson for help. good luck! (plus it dosent hurt to start eating healthy and working out, even a little.)

Go to Chico's. They have drapy clothes that are not only chic, but very figure flattering. They're very feminine to boot. Of course not all their clothes are for hiding figure flaws, but they have a good selection of drapier clothes.
