Does anyone have any good web links explaining how men can be tested for breast cancer?

Breast cancer is rare in men, but there are a number of different tests other than an exam that can be done. You can read all about them here

The testing and treatment for male breast cancer is essentially the same as for female breast cancer. Mammography is used if necessary. Ultrasound can be used both for evaluation of a mass and for localization for biopsy. Depending on the biopsy results, sentinel lymph node biopsies may be done or even full axillary lymph node dissections. Radiation and/or chemotherapy may be used depending on histologic type of the cancer.

The American Cancer Society has a resource online for male breast cancer. You can find it at:

In a manner similar to females, ie: by palpation(examination using the sense of touch), start with the nipple in a circular clockwise and radiate outward until pectoral ("pecs") area is cove, do this while laying on back, with arm extended over one's head, one side at a time, also palpate the axilla (underarm) do this once monthly.

Suggestion: check the testicles and scrotum in a similar manner.
