I think it was Gethin Jenkins after a chargedown... he definitely scored, I just can't remember if it was the first try or not.

It was Gething Jenkins that scored the fisrst try in the grand slam Game against Ireland in 2005. He charged down Ronan O'gara kick & then kicked ahead & scored.

Being from Ireland it's a bit of a sore one but as you're asking about Wales i don't mind so much!!

It was Jenkins... it was a great day for the Welch.. I was happy to loose to such a deserving team..
