If anyone has heard about Karla Homolka before, do you think the only reason she didn't get life in jail is because she is a woman? We usually think of sociopaths and rapists as being men, but this woman was a sick piece of work. She filmed the murders for Paul Bernadino, and she helped him cut up girls bodies and put them in cement and dump them in a lake. They got married several days after they murdered her own SISTER, and then they go on honeymoon to Hawaii.

She got a FREE university education while in jail, and she is now free and she wants to get a job, and it's all because she said she was brain washed by him. If she was a man, she would probably be in jail for the rest of her life, or if it had happened here in the states, they probably would have got the death penalty. I heard that she got plastic surgeory, and she is changing her name.

Do you think she should be free, or does she deserve just as much time as Paul Bernadino got?

** You would need to know about the Karla Homolka case (which happened in Canada) to understand what I am talking about. There is a show about it on MSNBC right now.

I feel this was a grave miscarriage of justice. The case was handled very poorly and as a result this monster is on the streets. I wouldn't want to be there on judgment day when she faces her maker. My heart goes out to Kristin and Leslie's families, their pain we cannot even comprehend.

I believe that this woman is more of a sociopath than Paul Bernadino, She made a deal with the prosecution, before they had all the evidence in and proof that she was responsible for getting and drugging all the women Paul used in his sexual sadism. This woman belongs behind bars for the rest of her natural life and it was the fault of the prosecution and they jumped the gun, she is guilty as hell and she knows it so do we but she is not going to be ever prosecuted, and I for one believe that law needs to be changed,

Absolutely not. She got away with murder by saying Paul Bernardo made her do it. She should be imprisoned for the rest of her life for what happened to those girls, not being given the oppurtunity to change her name and start from scratch. She's being given a clean slate, and chances at a life that some of the best citizens in this country can't afford.

Karla Homolka made a deal to provide information which would help convict Paul. Her defence was that Paul was in charge of their murders and that she was helpless to stop him. The death of her sister was accidental.

I think Karla Homolka has paid her debt to society, and deserves her liberty.

I believe the female had hoodwinked the prosecution and I believe she reneged on her word for the prosecution. I think that the female was cunning enough to get out of a murder rap but not wise enough to get away with murder.
Yes she should be in jail for two life sentences and yes she should not have her freedom. She did not pay for her crimes. She paid for her deal with the police, and prosecution.
