Go talk to thema at her bar, take her invoice to the Dr. talk to him and make him walk away. go to the back and turn toward the box. turn into a wolf and push it out of the way and sniff to learn the medicine scent. go outside and follow the scent to thema's bar and learn that the cat had it. she'll tell you that the evil skeleton dogs outside south trade road have it. go beat them ALL up then they will cough up the statue. pick it up and warp back to kakaro village and turn into a human and give it to Ilia.

How to recover Lila's memory.

Talk to Renado the shaman after you get the letter from him regarding Lila's memory. He should give you a letter that you should give to Telma. That is the first step.

Take the letter to Telma and she will then mention the doctor and give you an invoice. Give this to the doctor and he will tell you about what he knows about the statue. That is the second step.

Once the doctor moves, head into the back room and turn into a wolf. Move the box and then sniff the scent area you find there. You'll learn the medicine scent. This is the third step.

Still as a wolf, follow the scent back to Telma's bar. You find Telma's cat outside. She'll tell you about what she knows of the statue. This is the fourth step.

Head out the south entrance and wait for night to fall. You'll be attacked by a group of skeleton-like wolves. Destroy then all to recover the statue. This is the fifth step.

Show the statue to Lila and she will recall a story about a forgotten village. The location of said village will be then marked on your map. Head to that location. This is the sixth step.

Once you arrive at the destination, you'll find a goron. He'll destroy the rocks blocking the entrance and tell you about trouble in the village. Now enter the village.

When you're in the village, what will then happen is a western-esque battle for a run down town. But before you do anything, turn into a wolf and go to the second building on the right side of the town. Smash through a window and then go into the garden through another window. You'll find a howling stone here.

Now to defeat the creatures in the town. There's 20 in the whole town. Use your bow to take down the snipers ans sword the ones you can reach. This is the seventh step.

Time for the final step. The lady you rescue will give you an item that belonged to Lila. Show this to Lila and she will recover her memory fully. Congratulations.
