It seems if your poor you have to be clean,well if you want a job,but really is pot really going to effect my working ability.Im occational smoker 2 times week,never would i go anywhere high

I'm in the marine corps and we have a random drug test every Friday from a list starting with the most Senior high ranking officers all the way dwn to the lowest pvt. If you pop one time you're out of the marines with a bad conduct discharge. This is because we don't won't to b fighting next to someone on drugs carrying a loaded weapon. I think it should b the same for political leaders that are make the decisions about how to run this country for us.

Political Leaders don't do drugs because they are allergic to most of the common illegal drugs. 1 out of every 15 political leaders die each year because they try to experiment with a drug that is outside of there common allergen group. So far no success on finding any narcotic that they are not allergic to.
Although being allergic to most drugs, a political leader will often try to pretend that they are on the drug they want to try. Sometimes frantically running around in circles and pretending to be paranoid that the police are watching them when coming down from a crack binge. Sometimes they will hit themselves repeatedly in the head until they can see the pretty colors of what they think an acid trip would show.
Politicians also are able to get out of taking drug tests because they firmly believe that the government is secretly trying to steal their soul, which comes out of your urinary tract every time you pee. They feel their soul is sacred so that makes their pee just as sacred and they will not let the government have no part in the taking of their soul.

Because once a man or woman gets into office, they become Godlike to themselves. They are above the law and can do what they please and we who put them in office do not ask for accountability. Long ago, I learned that there are laws and privileges for those inpower, and different laws for the rest of us. I am always amazed that we have an individual who sits in the Senate of the Unied States when he should bve sitting in jail for murder or that we have other officials who vote themselves a raise in the dark of night because they decide that they have it coming to them. So, why would anyone be surpirsed that public officials, epecially those in D.C. are not tested for the use and abuse of alcohol (which is a drug) . or the use of narcotics of any sort?

Excellent question! Maybe it's because they make the laws.
Still the law is the law. Just because they have no ethics doesn't meanyou should follow their example.
