I believe the Iraq war is an unprovoked war of aggression, against a country that was no threat to the United States. It violated a binding UN ceasefire, and is therefore illegal.

What is wrong with wanting someone who started an unjust illegal war to lose it?

You can hope they'll ban free speech all you want Alex, it ain't going to happen. I've said this war was unjust for over four years, and I've been on the side of justice my entire life. So I'm not going to change.

The only people threatening my freedoms right now are the ones who want to read my mail, deny my right to habeus corpus, and draft me to fight for oil.

I think you're right.

It's not that I want to see the U.S. "lose", so much as I think that no matter how this war comes out, we would have "lost" in some sense. We've lost our morality, if we're willing to support an invasion of a country that wasn't bothering us personally.

Unquestioning obedience is for slaves.

That's great so when the kid next door constently threatens to burn your house down and keeps lighting matches and blowing them out, do you just ignore him or do you fear you'll come home to sticks and burned debris some day so you call the police and get a restraining order and if that doesn't work what do you do while your wife and kids are home alone while you travel.

Are you so important that you honestly think anyone is going behind the scenes to read your email. Oh by the way if you don't delete your emails and the service you use updates their equipment your emails will be free floating in cyber space anyway easily found in searches, IM messages to. check it out. .

Because we are the GOOD GUYS! We are fighting to control Islamofascism. A loss would be an enormous boost to those who want to kill or convert all non Muslims & they really don't care which it is. What part of this is so hard to understand?

I can't help it, LFP, I like guys like you who speak what you truly believe. The other liberals all feel like you do, but don't have the guts to say it. Thank you for being honest.

Get a life liberal. If you're an American and you want your country to lose then you should be deported. America is a sovereign nation and we have a right to defend ourselves no matter what the communist / terrorist UN says.

GOD bless America.

Because then our 3,000 boys died for nothing, for a lost cause. Why can't they give their lives for a victory instead?

Nothing, as long as you aren't a citizen of that nation. If you are, you should be drawn and quartered, and your corpse fed to stray dogs.
