I'd like to know if there are some kind of plants that are safe for my leopard gecko. And I'd like to know if I can put other types of lizards or animals in the tank as well. It's a 30 gal tank. Thanks

You really shouldn't mix different species. Aside from differences in size, temperment, and microhabitat use it's usually stressful for the animals. You have to even be careful when mixing members of the same species, because two males usually can't be kept together.

Fake plants are the easiest to take care of and won't hurt your gecko. There are lots of different brands available. I'm including a link to a company that I like - their stuff look more realistic than most! If you like the look, there's a "store locater" feature on their website so you can find a place near you that carries their products.

You can add a couple more leopard geckos, but 30 gal isn't too large, so be careful. Don't put any other animals/lizards in that size of a tank. I am not sure about the plants though, so be careful, I have fake plants for my bearded dragon, but that is because he would eat any live plants I could put in there. If you do put in real plants make sure they aren't poisonous, just in case your lizard likes plants.

dont ever mix two species together that is bad they have different niches (needs) and they might fight for food water and basking areas..for plants the safest thing to go with is fake plants...they are VERY low maintenance and the safest thing
