I had breast implants put in on Weds the 24th and I have been on pain meds all week. Today is the first day I could actually get up an walk around. My question is this, Is it normal to be bloated after surgery?? I am so bloated I cannot button my clothes. Anyone know if this is the norm or should I call my dr? I didnt wanna call her for something so minor if it is minor. Thanks in advance for your help!!!

Call your doctor's office and ask to speak to the nurse and ask her/him that question. It doesn't sound normal and, even if it is normal, you should be letting your doctor know what your post surgical status is. The surgeon may want to check you over. Are you on antibiotics? Do you have any kind of rash? Are you running a temperature? Is there tenderness in the area of the bloating? Are you able to eat and urinate/defecate comfortably? The nurse will know what questions to ask you and can determine if it's important for you to be seen.
