My husband is a businessman, who is in the middle of travelling. I'm a housewife and this is the first time he had to travel since we got married or even been together. How do you other wives handle it, when your husband is away on business? I'm a nervous wreck. My husband and I are so close that we are pretty much joined at the hip. I know I have to get used to him travelling cause he'll have to do it more often. Though he doesn't want to and doesn't like to travel away from me. I would have joined him but I'm nearing 7 months in my pregnancy and traveling is out of the question. His company pretty much forces him to travel. So any advice from other wives of busisnessmen who has to travel? I live in the Middle East so its not proper for me to go out alone and since I am originally from America, I don't have many friends except for at least one.

I love my husband with all of me and I would rather kill myself than cheat on him. He is my soul, my heart, and my everything. So please no more suggestions of that kind, it will get you nowhere. Just because I am a housewife doesn't mean that I am desperate.

I love my husband and I have learned to accept that he travels. It's hard at first, but it's something you have to deal with. He calls me and let's me know how's he's doing. I tell him what's going on and we try to bridge the miles with our words and love. When you're alone do something you enjoy...read, watch movies, cook, exercise..... invite that one friend over....maybe have a sleep-over.YOU CAN DO THIS!

My situation is a bit different than yours because I live in the USA & so I can do and go anywhere I want and I have friends and family here.

I work on me physcially....exercise, try new make-ups & hairstyles

When my husband is away I work on a house-project....something I've wanted to do but didn't while he was at home

I also read extensively and that has been a very good education for me...I've learned so much.

We keep in touch every day....and I keep a journal.
