is there any way to unscrew the iPod (video) to take it apart?

i want to know, because i am writing a story and i want to know if it is possible... just so my facts are straight (someone stuck a chip inside the iPod)

Well, you'd have to ask Apple to do that or go to a store that sells iPods.

DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT. Many people fry their iPod's hard drives or even get shocked trying to do that.
