That depends totally on where you live and what you consider bad. Eastern and Central Canada had no snow at Christmas so for many there, they will say the weather was great. However, for the ski resorts who had not seen snowfall and therefore no profits, then for them it was bad weather.

But global warming may actually be a factor. El Nino also plays a role in determining weather. I noticed that El Nino years seem to be a lot more frequent than they used to be. So it may be, in fact, a direct cause from global warming as the oceans continue warming and the ice caps keep melting.
