Both systems are not equally true... how could they be?
And no... there is NOT a biological basis for your beliefs. What you believe/ think is conditioned by what your parents, school, friends, etc. taught you, and how much you choose to pursue independent thought.

Evolution vs. Creation=Speculation vs Reality

I'd argue that both are right brained. Rational sense says animals change, right. So Microevolution (genetic variance) is plausible if not fact. But macro-evolution (species becoming other species) however, is flawed, as it doesn't have full evidence.

the patterns:

Creationism: God made animals/plants, animals changed over time to look different and adapt, but stayed the same animal.

Evolution: don't know how animals/plants got here, ooze became unicellular organism, which somehow got more chromosomes until it reached the primate ancestor, then that became an odd ape with 47 chromosomes (devolved), and that became us.

tell me, which takes more imagination to verify?

Creation: Many who hold such beliefs consider them to be compatible with science. They may say, for example, that a certain scriptural account of creation is a metaphor. Or they may say that scientific mechanisms were created by supernatural intervention.

This isn't the neo-liberal "everyone is right and should be able to feel special about themselves no matter what" doctrine. Evolution is leaps and bounds above literal creationism in evidence and logic. How an educated person can honestly believe in literal creationism over evolution is beyond me.

I do not think you understand the variance in brain area any better than you understand the other two concepts. Much to simplistic; almost incoherent.
