Give title outside the actual photo. If you are to do inside do it during the printing time. But it required accuracy , the adjustment of space for retyping is completely manual. The printing actually takes twice. First with photo only , second is whatever you have written as the title. This is my own simplest idea. There may be some other sophisticated idea. Pl go on. If you are using Microsoft Word or Works wordprocessor, try inserting a TEXT BOX from the INSERT menu. You'll need to layer it on top of the image.
Word has more options, like using callouts available from the drawing toolbar.

As others have suggested, words can be applied to photos using any photo editing program.

Right-click on the photo and go to Format Picture. Change the Layout options to behind text.

Now insert a text box, put some text into it, and drag it infront of the picture. You can change the properties of the text box to remove the border.

The easiest way would be to type the caption into a text box, and "GROUP" the picture and text box together in Word. No need to clutter you PC with any other downloads. Spikey got the idea, but you have to remember to group thenm together. ok otherwise they will seperate as you alter you doc.
