yeah, thousands of people were just simply mistaken when they all saw the pheonix lights at the same time.
remote veiwing is real, is is unfortunately also a magnet for people to claim they have the ability when they dont,
( a few bad apples spoil the bunch )
we all do remote veiwing to some extent, like when you think of someone before the phone rings and its them, or you get a gut feeling right before something bad happens.
ask any Anesthesiologist and they will tell you that human brains have several hundred levels of concious thought, we usually only use the first 3 or 4
it works by training youself, thru meditation.
I tried this with a group in college for extra credit, where we all chose an item for another person in the group to view ( at home ) and put it in an envelope, and while in class tried to figure out what the other person had chosen, the envelopes we all left home. nobody saw them accept for the one that put the item in there.
3 out of 10 were completely right on, and 2 more were close but missed colors and details.
5 had no clue.

K, here's a weird experience. You decide what it means, I'll make no claim.
I was in the market for an electric guitar. I just started playing the acoustic and like the variety of sound an electric made, so I wanted a descent one (before anyone comments, i've never tried any illegal drug, so no smart alec drug/musician correlation) Anyway I typically wear a lot of black and for some reason the lady who owned the music shop made some comment about trying to avoid wearing black herself because it draws her into 'that place' (this after 30 minutes of toying with all the different guitars) then she said something like..."I have no idea why I am going to tell you this, but...and she proceeded to tell me that the police use her to help find lost children because she has an ability that she can sense what the children are looking at, but she needs something personal of the childs in order to do this." We talked about this for a while. I went back home after the weekend. (I live in a small but beautiful town 238 miles away from this lady...sucks I had to go that far for a guitar) anyway, I was walking on a trail as I take care of campgrounds, and it was like I felt someone all of a sudden riding passenger in my eyeballs. I felt I had the ability to eject the person, but I let them stay and see what I was seeing...maybe the lady in the guitar store was holding my check...maybe not. But I have never felt anything like that in my entire life.
So. I would not be inclined to discredit this remote-viewing idea.

Have you ever head of the comet Hale-Bopp? Well back in 1997 there was a comet named Hale-Bopp. Two men discovered it at the same time and reported it to the government at the same time. Therefore they both get to have their names attached to it.
Well, back then, there was a radio show by Art Bell. Art bell hosted a show one day in 1997 about Remote Viewing. By chance, I was flipping radio stations around and I came accross that paticular show. I was bored so I listned. The caller claimed that there was a "companion" to Hale Bopp. It was a UFO, supposedly. I listened to the guy go on and on. He talked about the government using him as a remote viewer. I just laughed it off. Then a short time later, I witnessed the Phoenix Lights, and comet Hale-Bopp was still visable in th sky. If you're not familar with the Phoenix Lights, it was a huge array of lights that flew over the Phoenix Metro area. The lights were in a v-formation. I stood underneath the lights as they cruzed over my head. It was way way up in the sky and I watched the lights come from the Northern night sky, then over Sky Harbor Air Port, then it disappeared into the Southern night sky. It was amazing to watch. So, I'm just not sure now if remote viewing is bull or if it's real

Remote viewing is fiction. Also there is no such thing and the "ufo" that was supposedly following Hale Bopp and was also the destination of the Heaven's Gate cult who commited suicide to get on board the craft. There was no craft that was ever seen by the way.

Go to a search engine and check out remote viewing in the cold war. Russia supposedly had a large program to harness the powers of those who were able to perform this and other types of the paranormal.

I do believe it's possible but I have no explanation as to how it works. The government spent millions on it and decided even though it worked that it was supposedly inconclusive results(meaning that they didn't understand it and thought it didn't make sense)

Definitely fiction. It's just ESP with a new name. It doesn't work. Ask the CIA - they spent 6 million figuring that out. They could have asked me.

Of course it exists - it's called television! Another example of science actually producing something thru hard work that believers in newage gobbledegook and woo-woo can only gibber impotently about, grunting "open mind, open mind - awwkk" like the parrots they are.
Here's another one - did you know that people can really fly, too?
