Leave it sitting in the sunlight for another day or two. Then try to turn it on. If it doesn't work, go to Apple store or call Apple. Do not go the store that you bought the iPod from. Tell the apple agent that your iPod just stopped working. They have good customer service, hopefully they'll replace it for around 50 bucks at most.

this is probable toast. once you acquire the white reveal of dying, it skill something is incorrect with the hardware. Water grew to become into gotten in it and ruined the programing. If it nonetheless works as in song smart, then the water only have been given to the reveal area of the wiring. yet i might advise getting a sparkling one for the reason which you by no skill be attentive to what the water interior the ipod itself will do to something of it. Sorry...

Put it in the sun so it can properly dry out. Water may have seeped into the electronics and will only dry out if its left in the sun. This has happened to me, and at first my ipod but didn't work, but later after i'd dried it out in the sun it did work. So don't freak out if it doesn't work at first. If you have a warrantee on your ipod, you could return it and say it just stopped working for no reason- but that wouldn't be very honest. =P
