It will take another ten years for the political climate to be right again. I like to think i am not racist and no that Enoch Powell certainly was not. He just foresaw problems, and tried to tackle them there and then. A great injustice has being done that man,and the only party to gain from his bravery are the BNP. There are radical muslims in this country and hindus and jews and christians and every other faith you can think of, but the vast majority only want to get on with their lives. Not have ID cards impossed on them by cowards who saw the same signs but ignored them for personal gain

There are a few hotheads about, but a civil war between our population and elements of the Moslem population (who are, themselves, part of our population), is as unlikely as MacDonalds getting a Michelin star.
Powell's example as a person of education and erudition should be respected, and it would be pleasant to see contemporay politicians displaying his characteristic nous, but, unless idiot extremists on either side take up the cudgels, Britain is moving towards a culture in which all of our values are respected. As such, our race relations can be seen as a beacon to the rest of the world.
The threat to our society does not emanate from the average Muslim, Hindu, Pagan, Christian, Jew or Humanist. The threat comes from the chavs, the Jade Goodys and their lookalikes. Ignorance and the lack of manners of such creatures are the real threat, and Mr Powell would be outspoken about this phenomenon of mediocrity. Boris Johnson, is perhaps today's Enoch Powell.

There's no chance of another Enoch Powell. And it's not only Blair. 99% of MP's are like him, they want immigration to keep wages down, they cow tow to Muslims.
I started voting for UKIP a few years ago because they want to limit immigration and come out of Europe. And unless we do come out of Europe we will continue going down the pan!

I fear those of us who wish the likes of the BNP to pull us out of this (spiralling out of control) current situation, are alas deluded. It is clever PR work, make no mistake. Whomever are bank rolling them, are only fuelling an already growing fire in this wonderful country of ours. Can you really imagine the outcome of such a party coming to power. Life in this country, would have to be run AS A Dictatorship, far worse then we are now, if you can believe that . Would I stand by and watch as my fellow man is having his property taken from him, NO, the very bread from the mouths of children.NO. For this is, what WILL happen if the BNP get into power. Tell me now which one of us, will go kicking down some defenceless door, make no mistake, for in the first few years the Black Shirts will be pressed, and worn in blind obedience. Who wins?. And how will our lives suddenly get better?. Our cities will become war zones, is war what you want, then arm yourself, go buy a gun, knife, petrol bomb who you don't like. Stand up for your beliefs, be counted, don't piddle about with waiting for some one, do it. Talk of this racial hatred makes my skin crawl, we seem to think, that we are in some time machine. This is real, the things that are happening around the world are not of our making. How do the BNP propose to rid you of the invasion?, How are they going to ask them to go, nicely?. What about the ones that don't want to go?. Who is going to pick up the gun to force them?. What about the people like myself who think this is wrong and pick up my gun. Are you to shoot me?. And what about the talk, chat chat chat, "well I heard he/she was this and that", "better tell the black-shirts to have a word with them". And our schools, well how do you say they will teach our children, and what will our young grow up to be?. I fully understand the need for change, but please not this. There is another way, and I feel we know that deep in our hearts, We have been lead up the garden path, entrusted our well being to LIER'S AND FRAUDS. Can we continue to let these Charlatans get on with their plans, while pushing us aside, the BNP is no choice at all. Please, civil war, is that the way, forced removals will come and resistance will follow. Be your own Leader, stand up for your rights, the only reason this is happening, is because it was made to happen this way. The longer we sit and wait for some so called leader, the further away we move from freedom.

Enoch Powell was the first person to suggest ( & open ) the flood gate`s for " black labour " in this country it was only when it started to get out of hand that he tried to change the way thing`s were .
England is like it is today because of him !

No, because he was a racist, pathetic bigot and people like him will NEVER appeal to the mainstream - only to the ignorant fringes who prefer to live their life through fear and hate.
People who espouse such views are an absurd joke and will always be dismissed, as Powell was by his own party, and the population at large.

god i hope not, i am sure he thought he was speaking for the common good, but basically i am happy to share the country that i live in with anyone , that is because i believe that the world belongs to all of is.
Anyone that holidays abroad should think similarly. when you go to other countries quite often the people that look after you are from another country again
we are so quick to blame immigration for all the problems in our society so many people conceive that immigrants take our jobs, yet how many people fraudulently claim benefit cos they just can be bothered to get a job.
please dont tell me everyone you know who is out of work genuinely wants a job, i live in a Welsh town where i know at least three heroin addicts, these are people i know and try to be a friend to but they dont want to work
immigrants work for next to nothing because they have to.
i am not saying that there are not people who are here on false pretences, but then how many paedophiles, murders, gangsters from britain flee to other countries.
immigration laws should be better tailored, but i think that one of the only good things about this country is that we let other people in who might be facing a life of perpetual violence otherwise
