May want to wait now until the danger of frost over, maybe last March early May for Georgia. These are probably Bulb Plants which normally are planted in the Fall and then they just seem to know when it time to peek out of the ground.

I have 2 gorgeous lilies that were given to me in January a few years back. When they died down I stuck them in the ground. Not sure when it was but they couldn't have lived that long so it was probably cold when I planted them. I didn't care if they died so it was a great test. They have bloomed every year since. I'm near Atlanta. Guess our winters just "ain't" that bad. m

Keep them inside and enjoy them till you can't hold yourself back any longer .When everyone starts planting look in your space to find a spot where nothing else is growing and speculate color harmony in mid to late summer where they will bloom. Remember they have been forced so they may well not bloom againthis year .
