The best one I saw was on a Superman costume: "Cape will not enable user to fly" lol. The warnings are good who knows maybe a six year old read that and decided not to jump off the roof. Natural selection will probably have to occur again in the future when the earth gets overpopulated, but there is always the possibility of colonisation, and I think it would be cruel to remove warnings so stupid people die.

LOL like the way you are thinking but then again some people need educating and some need warnings because of health risks....take away those warning and you could have intelligent people dying from ingesting products with peanut or by products in that they are allergic to. Have a little reality check....would you really be selected as the 'fittest' if it came down to a line up???

In general, I'm right behind you on your sentiment, but the truth about "Warning: May contain nuts" thing is this: Peanuts are not nuts, they're beans. They tend to be grown and harvested in the same places as other "real" nuts, so may be transported in sacks (or whatever) that have previously held nuts. That's why there's a warning.
My personal favourite is from American Airlines: "open package, consume nuts".

It is not possible for everyone to know everything about everything. Stuff have warning labels to warn people how that stuff can hurt them (just in case they don,t know it). For example: An engineer would know about any electrical instrument so he/she will not need to read warning labels for safe handling. But a doctor may not know that correctly(that should not mean that the doctor is a stupid person). So the warning label is needed for that person. Manufactures also use warning labels to introduce features unique to their products.

These warning labels are all about choices and responsibility.
Firstly, the idiots that put these things on stuff ensure that you make the choice on whether to kill yourself or not.
Secondly, they place the responsibility on your shoulders when you do die.
I don't see the problem with warning labels. It requires a certain degree of common sense to know what to eat, how to use things etc. If you haven't got it then you might as well let the item in question kill you.
But most sensible people wouldn't let this "cotton wool" tactic play on their mind.

No, they are needed...
Humility is the last thing Humans learn so it not surprising how old the person who asked this question is. to be humble, what dose it mean, to put others first before your self to give relief to others pans and misery..
And old secret: Man invented early death to get away from sinning. Adam and Eve lived to 930 years. Death is the only way to stop shining other then to be totally obedient to God laws. In today's society every thing that is the norm is probably a sin.. Get this Christens going to church on Sunday are braking Gods 4th commandment honer the Sabbath and keep it holly, 6 days though shall labor and the seventh day thou shall honer the Sabbath and keep it holly, the first day of the week is Sunday and the seventh is Saturday. So the holy Spirit will not visit a person who is braking a commandment of God. The really bad thing that most of the leaders of religion know they are breaking God Law and leading people a stray from God!
Today is Sunday the First day of the week wake up people...

Why might want to it? And by the way, if we are able to apply Yahoo common sense, it would want to seem that an improve of caution labels has honestly decreased the Creationist inhabitants, if the heritage of the previous 1/2-century is any indication.

I would suggest that they put that particular warning you mentioned on some of the TV shows that I have seen lately (May contain Nuts!)

no. that's like basically saying you want people to die?
however, i do agree that SOME warning labels are getting out of control. but they're to protect against people from suing and legal lawsuits and such.
