they both were a distraction of the real agenda, this is what you call a masking technique, example ; i am talking to you in quiet room lets say a recording studio nice in quiet i see you left 20 dollars on the mixing board, we are talking in a suitable tone of voice for the room due to it being quiet in studios, so i clap my hands very loud away from the thing i want to take you look up and your 20 dollars are gone with out you even taking notice.
this is what happened to us twice, as you pointed out now you eyes are opening to the truth but people here will give you some answers that only cover the tip of the iceberg if that, starting wars is only part of the equation
but keep this in mind
Problem, Reaction, Solution.

Pearl Harbor was a military attack on a military base, and it was an announced attack. Japan told sent out a message that said they'd be attacking Pearl Harbor, but our government dropped the ball and didn't take the warning serious enough. 9/11 on the other hand was a terrorist sneak attack on civilians. Pearl Harbor was what war should be, one country's army attacking another's. It sucks that it was an attack on America, but it was 'fair' war none the less. 9/11 was a horrible slaughter of innocent people who posed no threat to the attackers. They were not soldiers, could not fight back, and had no chance. I see no similarities between these two events othen than what you mentioned about them being attacks on America and sparking wars.

They are almost similar, but the Japanese attacked a military installation at Pearl Harbor. Muslim fanatics murdered thousands of civilians and only a few military personnel at the Pentagon. It was not a country that attacked us on 9/11, but a religious cult.

No. They are incomparable.
Pearl Harbour was an unprovoked attack by an aggressor that wanted to occupy US territory. 9/11 was a response to aggressive US occupation of other countries' territory (and for its support of Israeli Apartheid).
In 1941, the US was an innocent victim. In 2001, the US got a taste of its own medicine.
Additional:
How ignorant are you of world affairs, "texasjewboy12"?
You call the US "isolationist"? With military bases in 30 countries? And the overthrow of more than 20 governments around the world, plus the support of more than 40 pro-US dictatorships which murdered their own people?
Not to know this requires you have a lobotomy, brain damage, mental retardation and complete blindness and deafness, never mind being completely illiterate.
Either that, or you get your "news" from the US media.

Yes I would. They were both sneak attacks on U.S. soil, resulting in thousands of casualties. They both shocked an isolationist U.S. government into war. The difference is we won World War II. I'm not at all sure we have the guts to finish this one.
