Go to college. I want her to be smart enough to know what she wants.

If I had a daughter, I would want her to do whatever it is she wanted to do and support her in every way possible. I don't know if you realize this but women have came along way. There are women out there who have done some amazing things. Flying planes. Becoming doctors and specialist! Now one is trying to become PRESIDENT!!! If my daughter wanted to go to college or become a housewife, I wouldn't care. I rather her do something that she will be happy with. You should open your eyes and see the things that we as women can offer the world many things, beside sexual pleasures, giving birth to children, cleaning the house, and cooking dinner!

I would say college so then she could get her degree and then go on and study more on what she wants to be and get a good well paying job and maybe even own her own successful business. I wouldn't want her to be a housewife and be cooped up in the house being bored. I would rather her have a good job, good relationship with her kids, good husband, and good babysitter while their at work. The babysitter I would choose is my mother. But all in the end what matters is what makes her happy.

I have a daughter who has no plans to go to college nor to be a housewife. It's not either/or. She's trying to find a publisher for her 3 completed novels.

I would rather she go to college and become her own person first, then if she wants to be a housewife she has a backup if things go wrong.

I do have a daughter and I want her to be educated enough so that if the housewife gig wasnt working out, she'd have something to fall back on.

plenty of time to be a housewife after she gets her education. What if something happens to her husband and she is forced to work to care for her family. kinda hard without an education

I have THREE daughters they're 6, 3, and 1 . I would love for them to go to collage to get started in a good career, but there is no force! My husband a nd I will guide them in the right direction for as long as we can,we will always let them know right from wrong, but I hear that once they're already an adult ,you can't MAKE them do what you want them to do! But hopfully we won't have to see them choose a wrong path!
I'm knoking on wood! And praying to God!

If I had a daughter, I would want her to go to college. I was a stay at home for 8 years and think it is important that at least one parent stay with the kids if possible. But I wouldn't want her to do it because she was a woman and had no choice.
