I am a nanny and have two interviews on the same day. Ive been through this before and the families will usually take a couple of days to call and let you know if you have the job or not. I just want to know if i should let each family know that i have other families interested in me and interviewing me. should i do it? would it be a good idea? and if so, how should i tell them?

Stay confident and keep good eye contact, that doesnt mean stare though.

It is definitely a good idea to let them know that others are interested in hiring you, thats competition. A great interviewing question is are you interviewing others? because the answer can tell you a lot sometimes and then tell them like this "I am in the process of a couple other interviews -- all very nice families, including your own... my decision wont be easy." Somewhere along the context. It will show that you're in demand.

It is always best to be as honest as possible during the interview phase. When you are comfortable to bring it up, mention that since you are actively seeking employment you have multiple interviews and have another interested family. Good luck!!

Dont tell them upfront. Then it'll sound kinda like its ok if you dont hire me, I have someone else anyways. So dont mention it to them UNTIL they call you back and say that they want you to work for them. If they offer you the position but you really liked the other place, then you can say that you need to think about it and you'll call them back the next day or something. Just dont push it in their face right away! :)
