I have always held the policy that I will buy you something to eat or a cup of coffee or both but I do not give cash. And you know I have been had some say no. Other times I have simply bought a sandwich or something and offered it without any conversation and have never been turned down. So my opinion goes both ways.

It really is heart breaking, I believe that the person if told how they can make some money, WILL NOT DO IT.

I've given food to askers and they are always grateful. It has been my experience that most of them are truly needy.
