Becasuse Bush lied about the facts and not bothered to mention the ones that prove he's lied.
First the economy is only good for the top 2% of the earnings scale. Wage growth has not kept pace with inflation for the last 30 years and it is getting worse. Inflation is at it's lowest point since 1999 when it was barely 2% (under Clinton). Currently it's 3.4% and the average salaried workers wage increase since 2000 has been 3% or less. That means you have 4 cents less buying power for every dollar you earn. Multiply this over 30 years and it means that your parents that earned 1/2 or less of what you earn could afford more on less.
Bush does not want yiou to know this.
They Dow and the S&P are up. OK good. Big companies are making big profits. Less that 30% of GDP is based on domestic manufacturing. This means that 70% of the labor that comprises GDP is no loner American (think China).
The average job created last year paid a wage of $7.35 per hour. This means that at least 1/2 paid less than that.
Bush's economy is creating jobs at starubucks, applebee's and wal-mart, not good jobs you can raise a family on.
So stop being a chump, stop listening to Bush's rhetorical crap, turn off Fox and learn some facts.

As a traveler, I've also noticed that the value of the dollar has PLUMMETED like I never would have imagined ever since Bush took office. That's a bad sign. A really bad sign.
And no, lol, this is not the best economy ever. Moron.
Oh, and people call you stupid because ever since you took office we've been able to fill a 365 page calendar with embarrassing ans stupid things you've said every year.

Well, I've been unemployed during most of your time in office. And those job statistics can be altered to make the economy look wonderful for anyone.
I have read and heard you say some pretty stupid statements, for one thing. And I think your decision to invade Iraq was incredibly stupid. I realize that there's plenty of oil there and Saddam Hussein tried to kill your father, but there were other ways of removing him from office without a full scale invasion.
I don't know if you are stupid or not. I don't know what your IQ is.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics website, these are the average/month jobs created by recent administrations (in 1000s):
Truman I -> + 69
Truman II -> + 113
Eisenhower I -> + 50
Eisenhower II -> + 15
Kennedy -> + 122
Johnson -> + 206
Nixon I -> + 129
Nixon/Ford -> + 105
Carter -> + 218
Reagan I -> + 109
Reagan II -> + 224
Bush Sr -> + 52
Clinton I -> + 242
Clinton II -> + 235
Bush (the lesser) -> -(minus) 63
On the other hand, BS dehumanizing jobs for immigrants are skyrocketing under the Bush administration.

That is how stupid you are, spending hundreds of billions of dollars in Iraq, paid by mostly poor and middle class citizens. Records may show jobs are being name at a record pace, but it does not actually show people whose unemployment benefits have run out.

The people themselves are stupid. The sweet speaking Liberals preach news of how they will provide peace and harmony for a better America. They speak of how they will provide welfare for the poor, tax raises for the rich, and better health care for everyone. Now the people on the lower side of the economy, (drug addicts, felons, uneducated 50 year old McDonalds workers) want to have the same privileges that the richer people have (people who went to college and work to support themselves). Since libs preach on how they all will fix these issues, the stupid people believe them. But libs realize that Bush is actually blocking their personal agenda, so they preach against him as well. The stupid people buy into it, the media buys into it, and thus people call Bush stupid. It has nothing to do with the economy, or the war, its libs sucking up to the poor and the media, and thus people calling Bush stupid.
