I did something stupid. I played around and I broke that thread kinda thing(i found out it's called frenulum). It hurts like s**t. At first it was bleeding a lot but it stopped now. What am I supposed to do? Will it affect my capacity to have sex (I'm 15)? Does it mean I'm not a virgin anymore? Pls tell me what U now about this and what are the remedies...

Also, should I try to pull the skin on top of it, maybe it'll heal ? Or would that cause an infection? Please give me some advice, I'm too ashamed to talk about this to my dad :(

nothing will happen except alot of blood. and it will never heal back together. when my brother and i were young we were wrestling and i grabbed his feet and drug him across the floor face down and his ripped.

Yeah, breaking/tearing the frenulum will sting a lot. The frenulum is a very sensitive spot on the penis, so you'll have to be a bit more careful in the future. There are a few things you should do right now.
First of all, I'm assuming you're uncircumcised. So, when taking a shower, make sure you retract your foreskin all the way back so the glans (penis head) is totally exposed and wash the area with water and mild soap. You might want to do this very slowly, and maybe not use soap there for a few days, as it will probably sting. After your shower, dry the area carefully with a towel. Then return your foreskin to its original position of covering the glans. Try not to move your foreskin around until the next time you shower; this means pretty much stopping masturbation/sex until it heals.
After a few days to 2 weeks it should fully heal on its own. If it forms a scab, don't remove it (like any scab on any other part of the body). If you want, you can apply an antibiotic cream (like neosporin) or a cream/lotion with aloe to the frenulum to help it heal faster and to reduce the pain.
If you're circumcised, then the procedure is the same as above, except you won't have a foreskin to retract in order to clean the area, and you won't have a foreskin to pull back over the area to protect it while it heals. Thus it'll be exposed and you might want to use a small bandaid to cover the area as it heals instead.
This will not affect your ability to have sex in the long term (though in the short term, it's best to avoid it). Breaking/tearing the frenulum also doesn't say anything about being a virgin. The only reason you should see your doctor about this is if it develops pus for a few days or it appears to get worse from an infection. This doesn't happen often if you keep the area clean, so don't worry.

YC and scout 485 have given you very sound advice. The frenulum is very delicate (my friend accidentally broke his), and when it breaks the pain is intense, and some bleeding occurs. Unfortunately there is nothing you can do about it once it happens. As the other guys have suggested, apply some antiseptic lotion or cream and see a doctor; you certainly don't want an infection. You may eventually consider circumcision, although this is by no means necessary. I was circumcised as an adult, and in my case this involved removing the frenulum. But I've never looked back!! Good luck.

Ok.. So far all these answers are incorrect.
The frenulum, also known as the penile tissue, is a small fold of tissue that secures or restricts the motion of a mobile organ in the body.
In the penis it is connected to the foreskin making the skin virtually impossible to roll all the way back unless the frenulum is broken.
Like in females who have sex for the first time, their frenulum clitoridis, otherwise known as the "cherry", is popped when the penis is inserted.
In males is different. The frenulum can be broken by masturbation, incisions, or straining.
No serious side effects follow but like any other cut you should take care of it to prevent infections.
Place a bandage over it and apply ointment. Do not have any sexual activity, masturbation included, until it completely heals.

Bet it does burn! Won't grow back, but as one of the few who are not totally in the dark said, clean it with water, dry and apply some ointment like neosporin, it will heal up in a few days but will be sore for a while. Some guys' are snipped during circumcism, others tear later, most guys' stay intact. Not much difference, you might have a little scar tissue after a month or so, just take care of it for at least a week so it will heal properly and not get infected. At the first sign of infection redness spreading, pus, tell your dad and go to the doctor to get treated. Infection on your penis is not a good thing.

think Jacob is the one hurting her in the preface. He's apparently somewhere in "Northern Canada". Which, as you know, is pretty close to Alaska. I'm thinking we're going to hear some more about Tanya's family in Denali and their bigger-than-average problem with werewolves. No I was just kidding. It's very unlikely that Bella dies, I don't think Stephenie would do that to her adoring fans, it's just too cruel. Also, she promised us that Bella and Edward won't have to go through the whole "I love you. I love you more. I love you too. Oh gee, he kissed me! How scandalous!" thing anymore. Actually, those are not her exact words. I summarized. She really said something like "Bella and Edward aren't going to have something come between them." My version was more creative though. Also, the Volturi are gonna have to do SOMETHING. It would be just too uncool to leave them out. Gee, look at all those run-on sentences. :D

Got a bit too excited did ya? :P Don't worry dude, I did the same thing when I was about your age or a bit younger - it just healed as any other cut would. And then you won't have to worry about pulling too far any more ;)
Disregard the people talking about semen flowing and other such nonsense - they don't know what you're talking about. If you cut your finger you wouldn't go see a doctor unless it got infected or something - there's no need to go in this case either.
I remember thinking how I thought I'd broken myself and laugh at how panicked I was, haha.

You really need to get over this embarrassment, and talk to your father. This can in the long run turn into a serious problem, and you may lose feeling in this area. You will need to see a doctor. You are still a virgin by the way. Go to the doctor A.S.A.P if you can't talk to your father it may be easier to tell your mother.

Isn't that the cord that semen travels through that you can distinctively see along your penis, and it goes all the way down between your testicles and between your legs? If so, you should seriously consult a docor, becsause, whatever you broke or cut, it doesn't sound good at all.

i really don't know what that is.... and i'm not trying to be difficult and give you a smart-*** answer or whatever.... but it really doesnt sound good dude.... i would really go see a doctor.... cause even though i don't know what that means.... it sounds pretty serious. Anytime you break something, it cant be good.
