in the past few weeks my girlfriend has got really close to a "friend" of hers (who happens to be a guy) yea he may live in scotland and we live near london but shes lied to me about when he texts her and is acting really strange with me and has cheated on me before so naturally i think that there is something up, like she has feelings for him or its all a bit of webcam fun if you get me. also shes just text me and said that she doesnt wanna call me tonight .... has it got something to do with him or am i getting to jelous? I don't know what to do, because this guy is really driving us apart .... please help!

Sounds like he is responsible for the changes. Whether or not something is actually happening , who knows.
If I were you , I would step up my game. Become more impetuous, romantic, fun loving, exciting, dashing, etc. You need to make her notice you. Get yourself back in the spotlight. That is assuming she is worth the effort. Avoid the jealousy. Jealousy is never fun, and drives people apart.

I think you're just getting jealous and worked up over nothing, because if you think about it, this guy lives in scotland, and you live near london, its not like they're ever going to meet eachother!
You sound like you've been together for a long time, she wouldn't throw away a long-term relationship for some guy in schotland that fancies her...i'm sure she doesn't even fancy the guy, maybe he's the one that fancies her and she's the one that just sees him as a friend and just talks to him like a friend...sometimes you get guys that fancy girls, but the girl doesn't feel the same way, its very common actually, and if i girl doesn't feel the same way, then the girl will never feel the same way, a girl knows what she wants, and if she can't see him in that way, then thats that.
You see her all the time, he's never seen her, she can experience so much more with you that she ever could with this guy, why would she want him? He's not even good looking anyway, unlike you, not that looks have anything to do with it.
If your girlfriend really loves you, if she really cares about you, which she just told me that she does...then she'll stop talking to him as much, if he's driving you guys apart. But i also think that you should stop getting so paranoid over someone that lives on the other side of the country!
I think you should stay with her...if it was a local guy that she saw all the time, thats another story, but this is nothing like that.

The first three answers are right on, but probably not what you want to hear, so more than likely you will be ignoring all but that one right above this one, (or below) and in the long run your so called girl friend will hurt and disappoint you terribly.

Your feelings are right on. She's pulling away, and there's a reason for it. She hurt you once, don't let her do it again. Tell her to make a choice between you and the other "friend". Why would your GF not want to call you? I'm a firm believer that once someone cheats, they can't be trusted. Whether you can live with it or not is up to you.

I'd bet that if something isn't going on...it's going to. Tell her she needs to be honest with you...if she can't be...you're better off on your own.
