Alright so, I'm going to the abercrombie today. I was just thinking why are so many people so stereotypical towards those who wear it. Hmmmm... Not everyone there is stuck up.

P.S abercrombie Hollister and american eagle are possibly the same thing. Except Hollister is supposedly more west cost and abercrombie east coast. and American Eagle, mid west clothes.

I agree with Dolce Vita...for some reason on Yahoo Answers there are a million questions about how preppy Abercrombie is, but seriously where I am from, no one makes a big deal about Abercrombie because it is a less expensive brand that normal people wear. 8 out of 10 people would be wearing Abercrombie or Hollister or AE. The remaining 2 who are the "preps" would be wearing Theory or BCBG.

Yeah I agree. Most of the people at my school wear Abercrombie or Hollister, and some of the people are the nicest people I've ever met.

i think that there is an abercrombie stereotype... but the reason i dont like abercrombie or wear it is b/c so many people in my area do. i dont want to hav on the same tshirt or outfit as the person next to me on the street..

abercrombie is just so generic.. at least it is where i'm from.

then again, you might think my style is.. so.. to each his own..

they go by what the majority of the people are. and it's not just abercrombie, people are stereotypical towards everyone and everything, so don't get so offended.

I know its soo annoyyying how people think everyone who shops there is a stuck up b**ch. My friend is just like that and shes always like "i hate anyone that shops at a&f, i hate preps, they should all die". Its soo annoying becuase only a few people are really stuck up like that and a lot of preps are actually really nice!

most people who wear abercrombie are either rich or preppy.
but if you wear just a little no big deal.
i say that the music in abercrombie ******* sucks, they take a trendy song [bad enough] and make it all shitty techno [even worse!]

I don`t know why people stereotype. Just wear what you feeel like with great confidence and attitude, --eff what others think. Ahaha, that`s what i do. :)

Its not that I stereotype those who wear it.
I just think their clothing is low-quality.

I don't think people who wear it are stuck up at all. Where I live people who wear it tend to be the opposite. Its just kind of a cheaper brand I guess so people who wear it aren't as wealthy, so maybe thats why people stereotype it?
