This is for the hooters girls out there. I just started working at hooters and I am currently being trained on service bar. When do I get paid, since I'm not "certified" yet and haven't been on the floor yet I leave home every day broker than the day before because gas is killing me. When will I start making money or will I get a paycheck while I'm in training?

I am not a Hooters Girl, but I knew a few of them in the past.
As far as I knew, they were getting paid while they were being trained. You are working at one of the restaurants and have already filled out all of the paperwork, then you should be making at least Min Wage until you are Certified. I suggest talking to one of the girls at your location as it is really up to the Franchise owner as to how each group of restaurants is owned. As far as I know though, you are supposed to be paid for any time you are working.
If you still are stuck, talk to the Manager, and just see if maybe something got held up in the paperwork.
