I have tried every single network since pay as you go mobile`s started ( now on contract ) the best by far is 02 genie for £10 a month minimum top up you get 500 text messages plus your £10 worth of call`s but there is other stuff they offer you aswell ! but there is also a "cheat " with these genie sim`s where you top up only once and never have to top up again ! this i`m afraid i cannot tell you on here ! the other network`s are a complete waste of time !
As regards to your phone well the choice is your`s but they are all pretty good .

for pay as you go its best to go onto a network that most your friends or family have so that you are calling within network which would be cheaper.....payg phones are quite expensive you get less for your money compared with contracts so if contract is an option for you then try that out.

If you get a vodafone because if you put £5 a week on your phone
you get free weekend calls.

O2 are really good for pay as you go,you get lots of bonuses when you top up.

i have a nokia 6111 and it's a fab phone,orange offer good deals or tesco mobile,that's pretty good too.
