I would say forget the MP4 player. Take a look at PDA's. I currently own a Palm Lifedrive. It has a 4GB hard-drive and I have installed a 2GB memory card. The storage may be a little smaller than some of the MP4 players out there. However 6GB is more than enough storage. I have 4 movies on it at the moment. It also have 1500 mp3's on it with plenty of room to spare. But not only does it play media. It functions as my sat-nav. I have games. I have ebooks. I can surf the internet. I can use MS Office Docs, I have a dictaphone. The best thing is that I got all of this functionality for around the same price as a mp4 player. I'm not telling you to get the same one as me, because it may not suit you. I'm just high-lighting one of your options.

Regards A.
