dont they have some official list about this. But in my personal opinion, anything from the old westcoast. Nwa, Dr. Dre, Snoop, Pac. Biggie and Jay rom the East. Too short from the Bay. All this new stuff just sounds like crap put on a great beat. The guys i mentioned befre actually had great lyrics to override the fact that they did not have great beats. So i thik the best rap song would be straight outt compton by NWA and as for r and b probably something by Al green
