if you like sad songs...there's a sad song with a happy message on Peter Gabriel's extremely popular album "So." The song is called "Don't Give Up" and features Kate Bush on vocal 2. On another Kate Bush note, her song "This Woman's Work" is coo' and she sounds nice in it, but i'm not really a kate bush fan. when I was a little boy, "Take these broken wings" always made me sad (by Mr. Mister) but I think that's because of some strange association i made between that song and my parents going away or something...

faster pussycat had one called house of pain , (awesome song ),motley crew had the songs without you , and don't go away mad , theres tons of great 80's songs
