I do not believe we have a choice to decide if we like or dislike uncertainty - we just adapt to the changes and move on making the best out of what may look like the worst. It is wise to plan and at the same time be prepared for whatever life brings. The things of this world are unstable and constantly changing. Each of us need to be ready to respond to the uncertainty in life viewing it as a challenge. You are stronger than you may think...rise above the obstacles, the unplanned detours, stay on course with the vision you have for your life - do not let go of that vision even if the circumstances have changed - you will eventually be back on track...it will happen as long as you maintain your pursuit and surround yourself with those who are positive and encouraging.

I regard certainty as a mistake, by and large people who are certain about something will not allow for other points of view, and will come in for nasty surprises when what they think is certain turns out to be false. In contrast uncertainty allows us to be more flexible, whilst you should try to avoid being paralyzed by uncertainty the awareness that things may not be how you think they are should allow you to recover more easily, and also make you a more open minded and likable person.
At least that's what I think, I could well be wrong :-)

That's a bit too broad of a question for me. I like to have "general certainty" about things, but sometimes uncertainty is the best way to handle a situation.
Think about it: how many times have you been in a situation that you had NO idea would happen, dealt with it, then later said to yourself "If I had KNOWN that would happen, I wouldn't have been able to deal with it."

Fearing tomorrow is a battle never to be won so it must be faced daily. I actually prefer uncertainty because it is what makes things interesting. If uncertainty leads to events that work against you, work with it. If they are in your favor, go with it.
Adapt and grow.

I neither like nor dislike uncertainty. I hate it.
On the other hand, if I had known what was coming when I was born, I'd probably have just given up and died.

Logically, I know that life is uncertain. Life could change for me while I'm typing this. But I do not like change or uncertainly. Therefore, I suppose I haven't really accepted what life is all about.
