I have a project and I need to interview someone, and I need to do it by the 30th of January. Any ideas on who and what kind of questions? BTW, it should be someone from the neighborhood, like a surfer or something. I'm just really stressed cuz i don't know who to pick.

It all depends on your project and what the requirements are. Maybe you could interview someone about their career and discuss it as if it were something you're considering choosing. If you have a surfer in your neighborhood, you could ask them when they started surfing and how long it took to learn, etc. Talk to them about the sport as if you were trying to decide to take it up and needed to know where to start learning.

Are any of your neighbors really good at or known for something special (mechanic, writing, musical instrument, sport, etc.)? You could talk to them about what they do similar to the surfer scenario above. Maybe one of your neighbors is a theatre buff and can tell you all about the history of theatre. If one of them owns a business, you could talk to them about what it takes to start your own company.

Possibilities are endless just make sure you choose a neighbor that you are comfortable around and that your parents know what you're doing. Start with some "canned" questions (ones you write out in advance). Once you tell the person what you need and why, just have a conversation with them and the questions will flow.

Good luck.

Pick anyone you think is interesting
Surfer: How long have you been doing it. How did you start. what was the most difficult situation. what did you learn from it. what's the best board. why is it the best board. what would you recommend or say to a beginner. etc. etc

Shop owner: how long have you been.. what do you enjoy the most. what's the most difficult. what type of person would be good in this role. what are some of the worst customer complaints. what do they do with merchandise that didn't sell. how many sales a year
