the scots of course. and i being one, am extremely proud of my heritage. i think it has more to do with the people, culture, than with their heritage for the welsh and irish are proud as well and all three have fought long and hard with the english throughout history, and have every reason to be proud, but i believe that the scots are just more down right stubborn than the others. i think this is the key to who is more prideful of their heritage. do not question me for i know this to be true.

Wales has a culture that goes back before there were any Scots, English or Irish in the British Isles. We also have one of the oldest Religions, The Druids. The whole of britain was Welsh speaking then. Welsh is spoken as much worldwide as English is. Our heritage is the oldest in the UK, and our culture is still ongoing. On the American Declaration of Independance, there are more Welsh signatures than English. The true spelling of Welsh, is actually Welch, but we use the way the English write it.

I think they are all equally as proud of their roots. The only time it becomes 'voiced', is when the Irish, Welsh and Scottish are doing a bit of English baiting.

I am Scottish but I am not interested in all that "heritage" rubbish.
Robert de Bruis was a Norman.
The Scots are Irish. Read the Treaty of Arbroath- "The Picts we utterly destroyed".
As for the recent cult of being "Celtique", it's beneath contempt.
I am interested in the future. Because THAT is where we are going to spend the rest of our lives.
