I'd say Casino. Although I'd also say it and Goodfellas are as good as each other!! I'd say Casino because of the character of Ginger - the only time I've ever see Sharon Stone turn in a decent performance. In this film she is the equal of Ace and Nicky and equally as compromised a character. Able to hold her own with them but doomed. Goodfellas, Scarface, The Long Good Friday, Godfather are all brilliant but they are entirely male centred films where the female characters are ciphers.

Scarface is full off the F word All Pacino great in any movie
Goodfellas always springs to mind as a good gangster movie but Once upon a time in America ,Road to Perdition ,History off violence ,Donnie Brasko all great
tough one but any James Cagney movie does it for me

Nobody's said "Goodfellas" yet?! That's totally my fave - so funny yet nasty.
Here's a little trivia for you Scarface fans: Blink 182 took its name from the number of time the "F" word was said in the movie (although some other fans counted more than 200 times!)

your bound to get mostly modern films so i will not mention them but for me it as to be an oldie james cagney in white heat what an actor i can assure you its more then worth getting hold off and if that ending is not one of the most memorable endings in movie history i dont know what is you can try little ceasar with edward g robinson or key largo with humphrey bogart all three men dominated gansgster movies at one time
