Simply to be American in this day and age is a blessing beyond imagination, because getting to be part of this fair and just democracy is enough to be beyond the perception of life under turpitude. Only if you are born American do you have the unalienable rights to the freedom here, and I don't believe that just because someone became a naturalized citizen makes them completely American.
With being American comes the resposibility to be faithful to the American cause. That is not to say that you have to like whoever is the President at the time, but it does mean that whenever American citizens are sent into the line of fire for the rest of Americans, you must support their cause. Freedom is not free even in times of peace, and that is the way it should be because not everyone is deserving of it.

They eat to much and eat the wrong things, and they are spoiled if they have to work for less than 20 dollars a hour they feel they are being cheated. They have no idea what is like to work a job 12 or more hours a day and make very little money and live in a place that is not fit for a dog to live in. They moan and groan for what they don't have. Americans need to grow up and be happy with what they have.

The best thing is all of the places we have to visit and the bond you share with many of your fellow Americans. The worst thing is having leeches always wanting our money but they turn on us in an instant.

I like being an American because I have somewhat freedom but the worst thing is all the immigration and fighting everyone else's battles. I don't agree with that.

I am not an american or a white.
I feel they are all great at heart..most of them. America is giving donations all over the world, helping most remote areas on various different kind of world. Helping build school, educate children and giving them medical attention especially in Africa and other poor countries.
It is really impressive, their kindness should not be blurred by their government policies on military basis becoz most of their organizations are privately owned.

The best thing is the incredible freedom to think, feel, and do whatever you so choose.
The worst is everyone wants to come here and get a taste of it, yet continually knock America because of jealousy, the "outside looking in" syndrome.
