My psp is refusing to read any of my games. It seems to be attempting to read the data but it just keeps clicking, any ideas would be gratefully received

Take it to a store called EB Games they always know how to fix the PSP my brother had the same problem as you he took it to the shop and fixed it up in 20 mins

This is THE most common problem with PSP's. You're going to have to send it to a repair shop online. Don't send it back to Sony unless you want to get it back in two months. If you've had it for over a year then you're warranty has already expired anyway.

You will find lots of places that do it. Expect to pay $50, though. EB Games will do repairs a lot of times.

Remove the memory stick and then try inserting a umd game if that works get a new stick and lay off the homebrew.

You tried to use homebrew didn't you. If you bricked it you are screwed. There's a one year warranty on it so you can probably send it in to get fixed.
