If it is an LCD it may just be a bad cable, but if it is a CRT it probably has a bad gun, time to replace it.

Evething that displays in your monitor is in RBG. Red Blue or Green or a combination of any of the 3 to simulate other colors. If any one of the 3 is dominating the display, you probably need a new monitor. You can check and make sure that you are using the correct drivers for your monitor and your video card before you buy a monitor.

Slap it! Only joking. Reboot the computer. If that does not work, check the settings under the right click on desktop panel, or the actual monitor setting using the buttons on the front. If that does not work, check the connection to the computer, clean it etc. Finally, if that does not work, try with a different monitor. If that works, then it's your monitor. If it does not work, then it's your display card and should be taken to a PC workshop or similar to have it looked at. Good luck!

what you observe (the blue demonstrate with loads of words on it) is in many cases termed the 'blue demonstrate of lack of life'. don't be alarmed. it is worry-free, esp with domicile windows. it can't be an endemic. each and every from time to time it is a defective sector at thechronic or memory. each and every from time to time it is a clean gadget that acts up along with your equipment. it will be many different issues except an endemic. the priority with the blue demonstrate is that it is problematical for the layman to verify what the reason behind the priority is. the perfect component to assist narrow down the reason is to save in ideas what software you've been doing in the previous it occurs. in my case, there have been cases even as it handed off when I used Adaware or maybe as i exploit my on the spot card. even as i ended utilising those, each and everything became very well. i propose after your equipment reboots, test for viruses and secret agent ware first. if no longer some thing risky became discovered, then i imagine it will be between the courses you've been operating it is causing it.

If I had to guess I think your Monitor is going out on you.
From what you had I would say it is the monitor going out.

Power. Maybe you are using too much power in your house..
Try to take out a few plugs if they are near your computer's plug.
