if you like on oregon i have most likely been to omsi its a really cool interative museum,anyways they do have a big snake,fish,insects and you can watch chicks hatch in this window thing and i have always wondered what they do with them after they hatched because i have never seen any that are any older than a few days old.

The chicks are given back to the same farms they got the eggs from. Usually this is a commercial chicken farm in the area. They supply the eggs, OMSI just hatches them and then the chicks are returned to the farm.

theyre not killed or anything like that but i do believe that they are either given or sold very inexpensivly to egg farmers in the area.
